On May 12, an incredibly insightful event was held at Humanitas University in Milan, Italy, co-organized by our Head of Research: Cesca Centini - who is also the President of the Humanitas University Undergraduate Neurological Society (HUUNS)! And to explore this from a variety of perspectives, the event welcomed three extraordinary scientists who are among the leading voices in physics and neuroscience, each with unique theories as to how the conscious mind operates…
🔵 Federico Faggin: physicist and inventor of the world’s first microprocessor. Now explores consciousness from a non-reductionist perspective.
🔵 Giuseppe Vitiello: quantum field theorist, applies the principles of quantum coherence to brain dynamics.
🔵 Riccardo Fesce: physiologist, studies consciousness as an emergent property of neural networks.
